Daily trade volume was Bt56.32 billion, with an index high of 1,532.09 and a low of 1,514.14.

Kitichan Sirisukarcha, senior vice president for research at CGS CIMB Securities, noted that the SET was following the same pattern set by the Dow Jones future and stock markets in Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam, which tumbled 2 per cent amid concerns over the coronavirus outbreak.
