KBank trims MRR rate in wake of policy-rate cut

Kasikornbank (KBank) will on Thursday (February 6) reduce its minimum retail rate for SMEs and individual customers to 6.62 per cent from 6.87 per cent.

The move follows apolicy-rate cut by the Bank of Thailand’s Monetary Policy Committee from 1.25 to 1 per cent on Wednesday, now in effect.

KBank president Predee Daochai said the move was also designed to help lift the economy.
