Virus cure, rate cut see SET bounce up

Daily trade volume was Bt69.36 billion with an index high of 1,541.81 and a low of 1,530.51.
Tisco Research believes the SET index has a chance of rising thanks to news that China has discovered cure for the novel coronavirus and the Bank of Thailand’s cut to the policy rate to 1 per cent.
China’s announcement on Thursday that it was cutting tariffs on US goods also boosted Asian markets, and meanwhile a Constitutional Court verdict on the fiscal 2020 budget is due on Friday at 1pm.
