The SET index moved between a high of 1,542.19 and a low of 1,530.44.

Krungsri Securities had predicted the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) index to move between 1,515 and 1,535 due to a lack of new supporting factors, expecting investors to delay trading, awaiting announcements of the 2019 financial results of listed companies.

Elsewhere in Asia, Japan’s Nikkei index closed at 23,827.73, down 33.48 points, or 0.14 per cent.

China’s Shanghai SE Composite index closed at 2,906.07, down 20.83 points, or 0.71 per cent, while Shenzhen SE Component index closed at 10,864.32, down 76.47 points, or 0.70 per cent.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index closed at 27,730.00, down 93.66 points, or 0.34 per cent.

South Korea’s KOSPI index closed at 2,232.96, down 5.42 points, or 0.24 per cent.

Taiwan’s TAIEX index closed at 11,791.78, up 17.59 points, or 0.15 per cent.
