GPO again sees long queue of people for face masks

Numerous people on Thursday (March 5) queued up at Government Pharmaceutical Organisation (GPO)’s drug store in Bangkok, like on Wednesday, to buy the medical masks and other products amid fears of the Covid-19 virus spreading and the air pollution.
The GPO is restricting the number of pieces each person can buy. On Thursday, the organisation provided supplies to 400 people in the morning.
The price of a medical mask was Bt10 per piece, while a bottle of washing gel was Bt70. A tube of washing gel cost Bt24 per piece and a 450-millilitre bottle of alcohol was Bt41.
