Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha has expressed deep concern for the wellbeing of Thais and will closely collaborate with the Foreign Ministry to improve the Covid-19 situation, he added.

Don said the first diplomatic mission was to clarify with other countries the situation in Thailand that might affect the people of those nations, but the most important thing was the wellbeing of Thais living abroad.

He will hold a meeting on March 19, which will be attended by officials from several ministries to discuss the issue. Thai ambassadors in foreign countries will also participate via telephone calls.
