Thailand sees sharp rise in new Covid-19 cases

The number of confirmed new Covid-19 cases rose sharply by 30, Dr Sukhum Karnchanapimai, permanent secretary at the Ministry of Public Health, said on Tuesday (March 17).
The sharp increase in cases took the total number of new coronavirus infections in Thailand to 177.
