Cops make hair-raising after responding to ‘murder’ call

By THE NATIONThe biggest story on social media on Thursday (June 11) was that of human hair mysteriously hanging out of a car’s boot.

In a Facebook post, Kwansuda Wanchanthuek said somebody noticed this in a department store’s parking lot in Chonburi’s Sri Racha district and called the police thinking there was a body in the boot.

Police immediately showed up and told the parking lot attendant to track down the car’s owner.

However, the excitement fizzled out when the owner finally showed up and opened the boot – the hair that was hanging out was actually her wig.
