Rain forecast for most of Thailand, isolated heavy showers in the East

The Thailand Meteorological Department on Thursday (July 16) said that the southwest monsoon prevailed across the Andaman Sea and Thailand while the southeasterly wind was blowing over the Northeast.
Continuous rainfall is forecast for most of the country with isolated heavy rain in the East. People in the East should beware of the severe conditions, the department said.
The weather forecast for the next 24 hours is as follows:
North: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 23-27 degrees Celsius and highs of 34-37°C.
Northeast: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 23-26°C and highs of 33-35°C.
Central: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 24-26°C, highs of 34-36°C.
East: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the areas and isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 24-26°C, highs of 31-35°C; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
South (east coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 23-26°C, highs of 32-34°C; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
South (west coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 23-25°C, highs of 31-33°C; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
Bangkok and surrounding areas: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 25-26°C, highs of 33-36°C.
