Isolated heavy rains in most parts of Thailand

More rain with isolated heavy showers are likely in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South, the Thailand Meteorological Department forecast today (July 21), as the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the country while the southeasterly winds prevail over the Northeast and the East.

Here’s the weather forecast for the next 24 hours:

North: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 24-27 degrees and highs of 30-35 degrees Celsius.

Northeast: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-26 degrees and highs of 32-34 degrees Celsius.

Central: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 25-26 degrees, highs of 35-36 degrees Celsius.

East: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 25-27 degrees, highs of 32-35 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.

South (east coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-25 degrees, highs of 32-36 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.

South (west coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-25 degrees, highs of 32-35 degree Celsius; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.

Bangkok and surrounding areas: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 25-27 degrees, highs of 32-34 degrees Celsius.
