Youth mock govt using ‘greedy’ anime character

Members of the New Life Network gathered at Democracy Monument on Sunday (July 26) sporting stuffed toys and singing a parody of the theme song for Hamtaro – a Japanese anime character.

Their version of the song called on the government to dissolve Parliament and stop “eating” too much tax.The demonstrators also jogged around the monument to symbolise the wheel of politics that people can’t get out of.
