Thundershowers, isolated heavy rains forecast for all over Thailand

The Thailand Meteorological Department forecast today (September 3) thundershowers and some heavy rains across the country as a weak monsoon trough lies over the lower Central region, the East and the lower Northeast, while the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
People in risky areas are warned to beware of flash floods and water runoff.
However, the department said category 5 Typhoon Maysak over the Korean Peninsula and category 5 Typhoon Haishen over Japan will have no effect on Thailand in the next couple of days.
Here’s the weather forecast for the next 24 hours:
North: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 23-25 degrees and highs of 34-36 degrees Celsius.
Northeast: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 24-25 degrees and highs of 34-35 degrees Celsius.
Central: Cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 24-26 degrees, highs of 35-36 degrees Celsius.
East: Cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 24-27 degrees, highs of 31-35 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
South (east coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 23-25 degrees, highs of 33-36 degrees Celsius; waves less than a metre high and 1 metre during thundershowers.
South (west coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 24-25 degrees, highs of 32-34 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high and 2 metres during thundershowers.
Bangkok and surrounding areas: Cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 24-26 degrees, highs of 33-35 degrees Celsius.
