เมื่อวันที่ 26 พ.ย.2563 ชายทะเลหาดชลาทัศน์ อ.เมือง จ.สงขลา ตลอดแนว 3-5 กิโลเมตรซึ่งเป็น สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวยอดนิยม กำลังได้รับการทดสอบความแข็งแรงทนทานจากการถูกกระแสคลื่นลมซัดกระหน่ำอีกครั้ง
หลังได้รับการเติมเต็มโดยกรมเจ้าท่าได้ทำการดูดทรายจากทะเลมาถมแทนที่ แม้จากเพิ่มพื้นที่ชายหายที่หายไปได้กลับมาดังเดิม แต่ช่วงนี้ภาคใต้อยู่ในหน้ามรสุมฝนตกหนักเกือบทุกวัน ซ้ำคลื่นลมกลางทะเลกำลังแรงซัดเข้าหาฝั่ง ทำให้ชายหาดถูกกัดเซาะไปมาก ชาวบ้านในพื้นที่เกิดความกังวลว่าทรายที่นำมาถม จะทนความโหดร้ายของธรรมชาติได้นานแค่ไหน
