The Cabinet yesterday removed Sihanart Prayoonrat as the secretary-general of the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO). He was instead transferred to become an adviser to the AMLO.
The transfer was on ground that Sihanart had served in the AMLO top post for the fourth year, which the law prevents him to serve further in this post so he was moved to the advisory position instead for the remaining two years.
