Meechai said the charter had been written during the King’s reign and contained elements that referred to the Monarch.
It was not clear yet if the Constitution Drafting Commission or the Cabinet would be responsible for the amendments, so it was best for the Constitutional Court to decide which body should do the changes, he said.
The amendments would not affect the charter content, he added.
