Police spokesman Pol General Dejnarong Sutthicharnbancha said yesterday that although protests had not taken place in Thailand, police did not wish to take a risk.
“We are closely following the developments and intelligence updates. Police are taking care of not just the US Embassy, but also other places of importance. We are also keeping an eye on US citizens entering or living in Thailand,” he said.
