A subcommittee of National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) will this week lay down its plan to invite former ministers and top executives of Thai Airways International for questioning in connection with the Bt1.2-billion Rolls-Royce bribery scandal.
Staporn Lao-thong, one of the three NACC commissioners responsible for this controversial case, said three commissioners and the agency’s secretary-general will hold its first meeting to work out details of the plan after the agency formally announced its decision to pursue this case last week.
Altogether, two former transport ministers, a former THAI chairman and a former THAI president as well as former directors of the national-flag carrier were named as persons of interest for questioning by the NACC.
