Nontawat Machai, a student at the university, said the exhibition would be held at the Faculty of Social Sciences on Friday, adding that many legal experts and human rights campaigners would attend the event.

“Our activity will not only talk about the case of Chaiyapoom, but we will look into the whole picture of injustice in our system, as Chaiyapoom was identified as guilty of drug dealing without a clear investigation right after he was killed,” Nontawat said.

He said the case would constitute a major lesson for society to learn and reflect about the reality that authorities still often use violence, including extrajudicial killings, to deal with problems.
