Thai Rath Online quoted the host of a TV programme dedicated to “luk thung” music as saying that Chinnakorn had died three days after being admitted to Siriraj Hospital.

The TV host said Chinnakorn, who won a battle against colon cancer two years ago, died due to an infection affecting the spine.

The host said funeral rites would be held at Wat Phra Si Mahathat in Bang Kok’s Bang Khen district.
