The Interior Ministry is considering opening centers in shopping malls for gathering public responses to the prime minister’s four questions on the future of the country, said General Anupong Paojinda, the interior minister.
The ministry will deliberate on the matter, also considering the budget the project needs, Anupong said.
The government campaign to encourage people to respond to four questions on the future of the country, after the expected 2018 election, kicked off on Monday.
Anupong said the project was going smoothly.
The government might open an online channel for the people to submit their opinions, the minister said.
However, he insisted that people needed to present their ID cards when lodging their responses to ensure everyone was expressing their thoughts and not the thoughts of others, to prevent the truth being deviated.
The minister said the agency was also working on spreading the word about the project to encourage people to take part.
For those who are illiterate, officials can help them fill out the form, he said.
