The area has been hit by heavy rains for many days.

Following calls for help by the headman of Huai Hia Moo 3 village, soldiers and officials brought machines and materials to repair the road section and restored connectivity for the marooned villagers. The Provincial Administrative Organisation would be undertaking more comprehensive repairs of the road.

Officials also alerted riverside residents of the area to raise their belongings to higher ground as precaution against floods following heavy rains.
