Farmers protest ban on three chemicals

A group of farmers dressed in black gathered in front Government House today (November 26) to submit a petition to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha stating their opposition to the banning of Paraquat, Chlorpyrifos and Glyphosate, and explaining they wanted to continue using the chemicals under the proper procedures.

After submitting the letter, the group moved from the Government House to the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and Ministry of Industry to put pressure on officials to review the ban.
