Former professional English footballer David Beckham met with Panuwat Sasomsub, a member of the House of Representatives from the Chartthaipattana Party on Monday (December 16) in Singapore, where Panuwat asked Beckham for advice on founding a football team.

The MP from Nakon Pathom province aims to create a Nakon Pathom United football team and also open a training centre there. The purpose of the football team and training centre is to encourage the young generation to work out more and keep them from bad or dangerous behaviour such as taking illegal drugs.
