MRT extends service hours for New Year

The Bangkok Expressway and Metro Pcl (BEM) and Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) announced on Wednesday (December 25) that they will extend the service hours of the MRT Purple Line and Blue Line including the Hua Lamphong-Lak Song extension section from 6am on December 31 to 2am on January 1.
Furthermore, the parking buildings of both MRT lines will be open from 5am on December 31 to 3am on January 1.
The extension of service hours, however, does not cover the MRT Blue Line’s Taopoon-Tha Phra extension, which is currently undergoing test runs.
