Twenty-nine newborn leatherback sea turtles were released into Andaman Sea off Phuket on Friday night amid supervision by officials and watched by numerous locals.Photo credit: Department of Marine and Coastal Resources

The mother turtle had laid the eggs on Kata Beach among locals and tourists on the last day of 2020.
