Birds splash Phuket beach with vivid hues

Phuket bird lovers gathered at the Saphan Hin cape on Tuesday morning to let their feathered friends fly free.

A vast variety of birds, from brightly hued macaw and cockatoos to lovebirds, added a splash of colour to the blue sea and white sands.

After several weeks of strict Covid-related restrictions, Saphan Hin has finally opened, though there were very few foreigners in sight.
