Thai lawmakers pay obeisance to founder of Chakri Dynasty, King Rama I

Parliament president Chuan Leekpai led other lawmakers to place flowers at the feet of the King Rama I statue on Bangkok’s Tri Phet Road to mark Chakri Day on Tuesday.

Chakri Day is marked on April 6 every year to commemorate the founding of the Chakri Dynasty by King Rama I in 1782.
