Another 28 staff at Ratsada Hospital in Trang tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, taking the total number of cases in the southern province to 129.

In all, 34 staff at the hospital have contracted Covid-19, with test results on another 50 staff due back today.

Ratsada has now been transformed into a Covid-19 field hospital, with other patients transferred to Huai Yot Hospital, said Trang Provincial public health physician Banjerd Sukphiphatpanont.

He also urged any people in Ratsada district who developed Covid-19 symptoms to visit Huai Yot Hospital as soon as possible.
