With 31 deaths, Covid-19 claims highest number of lives on a single day

Thirty-one people having Covid-19 succumbed, the highest in a 24-hour period since the pandemic began last year, the Department of Disease Control reported on Monday. Meanwhile 2,041 new Covid-19 cases were reported, the department said.

Total Covid-19 cases in Thailand since the outbreak has risen to 71,025 and 276 people have died.

Meanwhile, 278 patients are on respirators.
