Hundreds of Bangkokians flocked to the Trimurti Shrine in the compound of CentralWorld on Thursday to pray for fortune, love and career.

The Trimurti, comprising the three most powerful Hindu gods – Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer – is said to grant the boon of love between 9.30pm and 10pm every Thursday.

It is believed people flocked to the shrine this Thursday to pray that their hearts don’t get broken on the upcoming Valentine’s Day.
