The BMA reported that the reasons why many markets failed the inspection were:

▪︎ 20 per cent have no check-in and checkout platforms (Thai Chana or Mor Chana) to trace the visitors.

▪︎ 18 per cent have no screening checkpoints at entrance/exit.

▪︎ 7 per cent have no measures to limit the number of customers.

▪︎ 24 per cent fail to enforce social distancing measures.

▪︎ 8 per cent lack hand-washing stations.

▪︎ 7 per cent fail to adhere to mandatory face mask rule.

▪︎ 9 per cent fail cleaning standards.

▪︎ 3 per cent fail to keep record of merchants and employees.
