Tanaka who was pictured with a newly opened service centre in Chiang Mai said his company is planning to further expand seven more branches within next year in differing locations across the country in bid to expand its customer base.

OSAKA-BASED Daikin Industries is investing Bt15 billion to build a room air-conditioner factory in Vietnam and further expand air-compressor production at its Rayong plant to meet growing demand at home and abroad.

Hitoshi Tanaka, president of Siam Daikin Sales, said yesterday that his parent company Daikin Industries recently revealed the Bt10-billion plan to increase production capacity in anticipation of the rapidly growing demand in Vietnam.

The new plant in the capital Hanoi is expected to be opened in 2018, starting with annual production capacity of 700,000 units before ramping up to one million units by 2020.

“Vietnam is the fastest growing market for Daikin. Therefore, we need to have the new factory to help the Thai factory, which is now at full capacity,” he said.

Daikin’s Sri Racha factory still remains the biggest manufacturing centre outside Japan and mainly produces A/Cs and compressors for domestic and overseas markets in Asia and Oceania, Japan, Europe and India.

The remaining Bt5 billion would be used to increase annual air-compressor production at the Sri Racha factory to 3.5 million units by next year.

Siam Daikin Sales is focusing more on expanding its distribution channels upcountry.

This month, the company opened three branches in the tourism cities of Chiang Mai, Phuket and Khon Kaen.

“After the opening of new branches, we are planning to add seven more branches by next year in various locations across the country – Nakhon Sawan, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Ratchasima, Ratchaburi, Rayong, Hat Yai and Surat Thani,” he said.

Like its head office in Bangkok, the new branches will provide quick after-sales services, stock sufficient parts, include a mini showroom to display a range of products and run a training centre.

Bt100m on new branches

The company earmarks about Bt100 million for this branch expansion within two years. It has also prepared Bt400 million for marketing activities and brand-building.

Somporn Jangreenapawong, assistant managing director, pointed out that there was more room to grow in the A/C market, as penetration was only 24 per cent of households.

Penetration in Greater Bangkok was more than 50 per cent, so the market was facing limited growth.

However, growth potential appears high in other regions.

For example, the ownership rate of A/Cs in the Central region was about 30 per cent while the rates in the North, Northeast and South are still under the country’s average.

Daikin targets raising sales 22 per cent to Bt11 billion this year from Bt9 billion last year.

Greater Bangkok will remain the biggest contributor at Bt7.42 billion, up 10 per cent.

The Central region is second at Bt540 million, up 100 per cent, followed by the North at Bt740 million, up 72 per cent, and the South at Bt440 million, up 69 per cent.

By 2020, sales from provincial markets are expected to reach 73 per cent, leaving Greater Bangkok with 27 per cent. Under that strategy, the company aims to double sales from this fiscal year, which started in April.

The overall market for room A/Cs is about Bt30 billion and growing an average 7 per cent per year.

Due to the higher temperatures from January-April, the market accelerated 40 per cent while Daikin’s A/Cs sales outpaced the market, soaring 60 per cent.

Within four years, the company targets to sell at least 500,000 room A/Cs, up from 360,000.

During the same period, the market for inverter A/Cs soared 70 per cent while Daikin’s inverter A/Cs anticipated a 80-per-cent surge.

With this innovative flagship product, the company became the market leader with a share of over 30 per cent.

SGP to acquire power plant in Myanmar

SIAMGAS and Petrochemicals (SGP), a supplier of liquefied petroleum gas, will take over a 230-megawatt power plant in Myanmar for US$48 million (Bt1.69 billion) in cash as part of its drive into other energy businesses.

The combined-cycle power plant in Myanmar should give SGP higher income and return on investment, which should add value to the company, it said in a report to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

According to its filing yesterday to the SET, the acquisition will be made via Siam Gas Power (SPW), its wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore.

The Myanmar power plant is operated by MSN International, Asiatech Energy and Myanmar Lighting (IPP) Co, so the transaction will be divided into two steps.

SPW will purchase 30 per cent of MSN and Asiatech for $24 million. This step is expected to close this month.

Then SPW will purchase 30 per cent of Myanmar Lighting (IPP) for $24 million.

SGP will pay the remaining amount to the seller when SPW is granted permission from authorities in Myanmar to hold shares in Myanmar Lighting (IPP) directly. The transaction is expected to close by November.

The deal will be financed by working capital and loans from financial institutions.

SGP’s board of directors approved the transaction, given the opinion that the investment in the power-plant business will give the company a stable income and diversify its revenue sources.

TRI-STAGE INC, a leading Japanese direct-marketing solution provider, yesterday announced the acquisition of a 15-per-cent stake in Thailand’s TV Direct, the listed TV home-shopping operator.

TV Direct will be used as Tri-Stage’s springboard in expanding the business in potential markets in Asean, especially in the CLMV (Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia and Vietnam) area.

The acquisition will allow Tri-Stage to become the largest single shareholder in the Thai company, giving it a seat on TV Direct’s board.

There is, however, no significant change in the top executive and management structure at TV Direct as a result of the deal.

Yutaro Suzuki, director and senior executive of Tri-Stage, said his company provided a direct-marketing solution to 130 clients, selling about 500 products in total.

The firm generated revenue of ฅ37.13 billion (Bt12.21 billion) last year, some 15.4 per cent higher than the 2014 level.

The partnership between TV Direct and Tri-Stage will also allow the Japanese partner the possibility of opening a Nippon Department Store in Bangkok.

Tri-Stage operates two Nippon Department Store outlets in Japan, retailing specialty and notable local products and sundry items from the various regions of the country.

“We have acquired a 15-per-cent stake in TV Direct as we have seen the strong growth potential of home-shopping business in Thailand. TV Direct has been successful in developing home-shopping business here [Thailand] and we would like to rely on their skill to explore business opportunity in other Asean countries,” Suzuki said.

“We are negotiating with TV Direct about the business principle in expanding the home-shopping business in other potential markets in Asean,” he added.

Tri-Stage already has a business in Indonesia after purchasing a stake in a local distribution firm that supplies products to a home-shopping network.

Tri-Stage operates largely in two business areas, with the direct-marketing support segment engaged in the provision of media advertisement space; the customised development of products; the planning and production of TV and other programmes; and the provision of know-how about order receipt and logistics.

The direct-mail agency sending segment is engaged in the agency dispatch of direct mails and products, and other businesses. Through a subsidiary, it also operates a retail business selling specialty products and miscellaneous goods.

Songpol Shanmatkit, chief executive of TV Direct, said that under the acquisition, Tri-Stage had acquired 97.5 million shares at Bt3.50 apiece.

“Under the partnership, we – TV Direct and Tri-Stage – will share direct-marketing know-how and experiences in developing the market together,” he said.

Songpol identified the key mutual benefits driven by the strategic partnership as the transfer of direct-marketing and direct-response TV know-how, which will lead to increased sales and cost reduction; business process outsourcing, which will allow TV Direct to duplicate the business model in bringing Japanese products and services to Thailand; sharing business information, best-selling products, and selling methods; using Tri-Stage’s retail network, such as Nippon Department Store, in distributing Thai products into the Japanese market, and Japanese products into Thailand; and strengthened financial support.

“Within the next six months, we will see the immediate benefit of the partnership, including in the area of media management and media utilisation. The company expects its overall expenditures to be slashed by between 5 and 10 per cent over the period,” the CEO said.

He added that product exchange and creation between the partners would be seen within the next 12 months, while mutual cooperation, such as in database marketing, would be achieved in the longer term.

“The home-shopping market in Thailand was worth Bt8 billion last year, and is expected to reach Bt10 billion this year. The market is expected to enjoy further growth for the next five years,” Songpol said.

TV Direct leads the local TV shopping market with a share of 40-50 per cent, he said. Other active players are TVD Shopping, O Shopping, True Select, Shop Channel, Hi Shopping, 1577, 1575 and Denso Direct.

TV Direct expects to achieve Bt3.2 billion in sales this year, against Bt3 billion last year.

Its annual growth-rate target is normally 15 per cent, but with the partnership with Tri-Stage, growth should rise to 20-25 per cent from 2018 onwards, the chief executive said.

“We have about 1,500 SKUs [stockholding units] in our portfolio, of which 40 per cent are Thai products. With the partnership with Tri-Stage, between 50 and 100 new SKUs will be added, of which between 50 and 60 per cent will be from Japan, and the rest from China and South Korea,” he added.

New luxury resort to open in Krabi province

http://www.nationmultimedia.com/business/New-luxury-resort-to-open-in-Krabi-province-30291004.html

THE SHELLSEA, a luxury resort, is set to open in Krabi in November.

“The resort has been designed with generously sized rooms that offer maximum privacy for different markets particularly couples, families and small to medium-sized groups,” Chatchawan Pankudrua, general manager of Aonang Ville Co, the owner and manager of the new property, said yesterday.

Featuring 72 guestrooms, 12 villas and a grand villa, it will be positioned as a luxury product catering to high-end markets. Reservations opened this month.

Aonang Ville Co also owns and operates the Aonang Villa Resort, one of the longest-established resorts at Krabi’s Ao Nang Beach.

Its first resort at Ao Nang opened almost 30 years ago and consistently enjoys the highest occupancy rates in Krabi.

The group is confident in the potential for The ShellSea.

The veteran Thai hotelier, who began operating in Phuket in 1986 and worked in Sydney and Fiji before returning to Thailand, said the property was located on an isolated beach linked directly with the famous shell fossil plate, one of Krabi’s prime attractions.

The resort’s Grand Villa comes with its own pool and a full 180-degree view of the sea from its beachfront setting.

There are also a Kids’ Club and a pool suitable for families with young children.

Other leisure activities will include jogging, yoga, pool games, kayaking and windsurfing.

Krabi’s tourism industry was hit hard by the tsunami in 2004, but the business has fully rebounded and has even grown rapidly for years.

The National Statistical Office showed that Krabi counted 499 registered hotels and resorts with 19,020 rooms last year. More than 5.5 million tourists, both locals and foreigners, visited the province and generated revenue of Bt78 billion.

Tourism, media feel the pinch

LABOUR DEMAND

The Tourism industry still needs skilled workers and its encouraging the production of such workers to serve this industry growth.

Ittirit Kinglake, president of the Tourism Council of Thailand, said the tourism sector, especially hotels, still lacked skilled workers including at the housekeeping and management levels, such as marketing and cost-management experts, and many hotels were hiring foreigners to fill such positions.

Moreover, travel companies that serve non-English-speaking tourists such as those from China, Russia, Korea, the Middle East and Eastern Europe are facing the same problems.

“The shortage of labour is due to the rapid expansion of [the hotel sector] and fast growth of some markets like China. However, I believe that many new graduates likely did not intended to become labourers. Instead, they preferred to work with airlines or other service industries,” he said.

Thai Airways International is recruiting 565 new flight attendants to replace retired staff and serve future network expansion.

Yuthasak Supasorn, governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, said the agency was recruiting 114 staff and subcontractors until July 25 to work at its headquarters in Bangkok and branches in the provinces.

Last year, Dusit International opened Dusit Thani Hotel School in Bangkok on Phetchaburi Road, with aims to produce up to 4,000 Asean-standard workers per year for the hotel and tourism industry.

Meanwhile, as it transforms into the digital era, the media and broadcasting industry require more specialists in this area to respond to the growing needs of brands and corporates in this dynamic market.

Jerome Hervio, managing director of Ipsos (Thailand) and the president of the Thailand Market Research Society, said the market-research industry needed advanced skill sets such as data analysis, Internet specialists and graphic designers who can translate sophisticated data into presentable and easily digested infographics.

To deal with this, the company utilises skilled talents across its global network as such specialists are quite limited in the Kingdom.

The advertising industry also needs such talents to deal with big data generated by online consumers.

Thai farmers urged to embrace innovation

INNOVATION

A rice farmer in Japan has adopted modern technology and innovation to increase rice quality and minimise impacts from natural disasters.

A rice farmer in Japan has adopted modern technology and innovation to increase rice quality and minimise impacts from natural disasters.

A JAPANESE RICE farmer must be the envy of his Thai counterparts, earning Bt50,000 or more per rai, five times what they gain from their hard work.

According to Tsutomu Miyakoshi, former general manager of the Research Institute of Agricultural Economics under the Niigata prefectural government, Thai farmers could also enjoy such a high income if greater focus were placed on innovation.

During a briefing in Bangkok last week, Miyakoshi attributed Japanese farmers’ high incomes to their focus on production quality, which could be achieved through innovative solutions for rice farming as well as innovative ideas on adding value to the farms’ output.

As a major rice producer, Thailand could maintain such a position if farming were possible even during a natural disaster. Meanwhile, Thailand may need to diversify its focus, from merely producing rice as a main staple to producing rice products with added value, he said.

In Japan, the help starts from the government. When there is a risk of storms with strong winds, farmers are told to deepen their rice fields so that they can hold more water and allow the rice to grow without interruption. Japanese farmers also coat rice seeds with iron powder to add weight. This will also help protect the seeds from birds.

Once output becomes steady, they pay attention to rice packaging and design. Thanks to this creativity, one brand of Japanese rice can sell its product for 2,000 yen (about Bt660) per kilogram.

Some Japanese farmers have also diversified into rice-based products such as snacks and cosmetics. This helps increase their incomes and creates sustainable development for the rice industry, Miyakoshi said.

“When rice is turned into products, the value tends to increase three- to fivefold,” he said.

Miyakoshi is ready to share these experiences with Thai farmers.

As agricultural-solutions adviser to Siam Kubota Corp, he is working on solutions to develop the Thai rice industry, embracing innovation. The objective is to reduce farmers’ reliance on the mercy of nature or government subsidies.

The solutions should be ready within one year and Siam Kubota may seek help from government agencies in implementing them.

While waiting for the right solutions, Miyakoshi urges farmers, which normally cultivate 5-10 rai (8,000-16,000 square metres) per household, to integrate their rice fields to increase bargaining power when purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment.

Online wealth management platform rebrands

WEALTHMANAGER.COM is officially rebranding its Asian operations as simply “Wealth”.

The rebranding follows a successful Asia launch last year, which saw Wealth partner with more than 25 wealth-management institutions and achieve 400-per-cent year-on-year growth in the number of users accessing the platform.

Wealth has expanded its service offerings to include private banking, tax, trust and legal institutions. It says it is now able to provide the most comprehensive online matching service for Asia’s wealthy to a curated network of experts, professionals and institutions who can make their wealth grow.

Wealth is targeting wealthy individuals in Thailand, after sustained and growing interest in the platform from investors, and an acceptance of technology as a way to access and use wealth-management, legal and taxation services.

“Since launching in Singapore a year ago, we have partnered with over 25 institutions and matched them with wealthy individuals from over 40 countries, with average account opening amounts of US$5 million,” said Dominic Gamble, chief executive officer and co-founder of Wealth.

“Wealthy individuals in Thailand are natural users of Wealth, given the lack of financial products and easily accessible financial experts in this market.

“Over the past year, Wealth has empowered over 500 wealthy individuals in Asia with the knowledge and ability to access a wider pool of wealth managers, resulting in over $250 million in transactions. We will be opening up the legal, trust, tax and private-banking sectors to the same level of transparency and accessibility.”

Wealth says it uses a unique algorithm to connect investors transparently and efficiently with high-quality wealth managers, legal, taxation and trust experts and private banks that are tailored to their unique needs. These investors range from the “mass affluent” individual with a minimum of $250,000 (Bt8.75 million) to ultra-high-net-worth individuals with $30 million or more.

Launched in London in 2012 as FindaWealthMangager.com, and in Singapore in June last year, the platform has provided more than $1.5 billion worth of client leads to the wealth-management industry globally, it claims.

Wealth says it meets the growing demand for more efficient ways to access higher-quality wealth experts in a region where financial services and products are often lacking. Wealthy individuals using Wealth are able to access superior and |more sophisticated advice |covering a range of needs including healthcare, trust and asset protection, property, divorce, wills, succession planning and investments, it |says.

“Thailand’s population of [high-net-worth individuals] has grown by 12.7 per cent over the past 10 years, yet they still rely on basic financial structures and services, with many simply letting their cash sit in bank deposits rather than [looking] for ways to grow their wealth,” Gamble said.

“Investors will be well served by Wealth’s ability to provide a transparent, free, efficient and online means for [them] to tap the knowledge of wealth experts – allowing them to unlock the potential of their assets.”

Kabir Saluja, General Manager of Carlsberg Thailand, poses at the Stade De France, the national stadium of France,in Paris during a 2016 UEFA European Championship match between France and Iceland on July 3. Carlsberg is the Official Sponsor of the UEFA E

Following its brand reintroduction to the Thai market in 2012 after a seven-year hiatus, Danish brewer Carlsberg is committed to long-term investment opportunity in Thailand, which it views as one of its most promising markets in Asean. Here is the interview with Kabir Saluja, general manager of Carlsberg Thailand.

What is Carlsberg’s target for returning as a market leader in the premium beer segment?

Thailand is a very important market for the Carlsberg Group. The beer market is extremely large and Thai consumers enjoy all sorts of beers, from local brands like Leo to more expensive super-premium brands that you now see in upscale bars and restaurants.

The Carlsberg Group is renowned for its vast portfolio from around the world, and we see more and more opportunities to introduce popular choices to the Thai market. Apart from the Carlsberg brand, we also have Beerlao, which is becoming extremely popular, and we have recently launched Kronenbourg 1664 – the best-selling French beer in the world.

What do you think about the premium beer segment in Thailand, and do you have any plan to penetrate the standard beer market?

The premium and super-premium beer segments in Thailand will continue to grow as consumers begin to appreciate different types of beers and experiences. The Carlsberg Group will continue to participate in these segments, as we feel we have a competitive advantage with our portfolio from around the world as we hold a number-1 or number-2 position in 80 per cent of the markets we operate in.

What is the plan in the next three to five years for the Thai market in terms of marketing and investment?

The Carlsberg Group will continue to invest in Thailand and we believe the alcohol and beer markets will start to show promising growth, especially in the super-premium beer segments. Our plans are to use our portfolio to gain leadership positions in these segments.

The Carlsberg brand will continue to be an important brand as we want consumers and our customers to enjoy “Probably the best beer in the world”, and we have also seen positive signs with increasing draught beer volumes around pubs and beer gardens in Bangkok and other key cities.

We also feel that Thai men and women will find Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc matches their taste and image.

Last but not least, Beerlao continues its high double-digit volume growth, and we will continue to invest behind this brand as it is one of the fastest-growing imported beer brands in Thailand.

What is the business strategy for Carlsberg’s draught beer in Thailand?

Carlsberg has played a very important part in the beer industry. Our founder JC Jacobson discovered the methods of purifying yeast at the Carlsberg laboratories, and it was perhaps one of the most important advances in the history of beer science. Without it, we would not have a type of beer that is now 90 per cent of the market.

And this is why our draught beer in Thailand is very important. We believe it gives consumers a real taste of what great quality beer is. In the previous year alone, we have seen our draught beer volumes grow more than 20 per cent and we will continue to be aggressive with our draught agenda because we believe consumers enjoy this extremely great-tasting beer.

What’s the marketing strategy and investment plan for the regional market?

In mainland Southeast Asia, the Carlsberg Group enjoys a strong leadership position. We are market leaders in Laos with Beerlao the local power brand, in Cambodia with Angkor Beer, and in Vietnam with Huda.

We have recently begun our participation in Myanmar, with the Carlsberg brand playing in the premium beer segment and Yoma the local beer brand.

With the Asean Economic Community taking full affect, we see more opportunities for these brands being enjoyed across the region, as you can already see Thai consumers enjoying Beerlao – and vice versa, the Singha and Leo brands being offered across the region in Cambodia and Laos.

Lifelong hunger for challenges pays off

ศาสตร์เกษตรดินปุ๋ย : ขอบคุณแหล่งข้อมูล : หนังสือพิมพ์ The Nation

http://www.nationmultimedia.com/business/Lifelong-hunger-for-challenges-pays-off-30290876.html

HAVING grown up in the outskirts of Bangkok in a family of Chinese descent, Siripa Jungsawat, managing director of HappyFresh (Thailand), has always been hungry for a challenge in life.

Unlike other kids who would play shopkeeper, Siripa’s playground was real. She would take a two-hour bus ride every week to help her sisters sell shoes at the world’s biggest outdoor market, Chatuchak Market.

Growing up with a dream of becoming an entrepreneur, Siripa decided to major in accounting at Thammasat University with the belief that it would give her the skill set she needed.

Siripa started her career as an assistant auditor at Ernst & Young. At the age of 25, she moved to Dumex to become an accounting manager. She then attended Lund University in Sweden for a master’s degree in entrepreneurship and economic growth, innovation and spatial dynamics.

During her studies, Siripa started two small businesses: a store selling jewellery and clothes imported from Thailand and a wedding-gown wholesaler. She learned two great lessons from that experience.

First, there is a difference in buying behaviour between Swedes (who focus on quality) and Thais (who are price-sensitive).

The second lesson was the need to be efficient. As a business owner, it’s important to use your time wisely. Time is money. Don’t do everything yourself.

After completing her master’s, Siripa moved to Denmark to join Danisco, a Danish multinational company. The almost two years she spent there taught her a lot – not only about best practices of business processes on a global level, but the foundations of corporate management.

Siripa returned home with a pocketful of business ideas and a big opportunity she saw while in the West, e-commerce. She founded Allthaicoupon.com. In only three months, it became the biggest deal-aggregator website in Thailand.

In 2013, Siripa joined Zalora Thailand, one of Asia’s leading online fashion destinations, as a corporate director and vice president of finance. During her time there she was involved in the strategic business process and business controls. Equally important, Siripa was a key player in setting up Zalora’s strong finance, accounting, legal and import department.

After two years, Siripa thought it was time to start a new business. One of her ideas was e-groceries.

However, she knew that the e-grocery business needed a lot of support. To her surprise, HappyFresh came knocking on her door out of the blue; her answer was a big “yes”, and she jumped into the family without hesitation.

“I am a big fan of technology; it makes our lives easier,” she said. “HappyFresh allows people to get their groceries [delivered while] going out and spending time on what matters most. Go eat ice cream and walk in the park with your loved ones, and my HappyFresh team will deliver the groceries to your doorstep [for you to find] when you get back.”

As a home-grown middle-class Thai woman, Siripa is now standing strong among other managing directors in the e-commerce industry in Thailand. With her many years of experience, she has shared with us three success factors for business:

Failed? “Please Try Again.”

Pinpoint the right problems.

Be efficient.

Siripa said HappyFresh offered a personal grocery-shopping service that helps you get hand-picked groceries in one hour from supermarkets. HappyFresh offers more than 20,000 products on its platform and operates with 24 supermarket branches, mainly in Bangkok.

“At HappyFresh, we have three secrets to success: customer, customer and CUSTOMER! HappyFresh provides an instant solution for customers, next-hour grocery delivery. We focus on high-quality products and fast delivery.

“After more than 10 months, our customer satisfaction is very high, and I am glad that HappyFresh is making people’s lives easier. We have more and more regular customers every day and they love our personal shoppers who help them shop and call if there’s anything out of stock.

“There’s also a wide choice of replacement products. It’s just like you are remotely doing your own shopping.”

HappyFresh has begun a mission to change the face of traditional grocery shopping. E-groceries is the last frontier of e-commerce and is considered a tough business, as it needs to convert consumer behaviour. However, Siripa strongly believes that Thailand will be there.

CAT to partner Korea’s SK Telecom in e-payment service

http://www.nationmultimedia.com/business/CAT-to-partner-Koreas-SK-Telecom-in-e-payment-serv-30290873.html

CAT Telecom and South Korea telecom operator SK Telecom will soon announce a joint-venture deal to provide an e-payment gateway service, said Surapant Meknavin, acting president of CAT.

He declined to provide more details.

But according to a CAT executive source, the joint venture, Tree Pay Co, will offer an e-payment gateway service to cash in on the growing amount of business being done online in Thailand.

SK Telecom will hold a 51 per cent stake in the joint venture, the source said, adding that its CAT’s first joint venture with a foreign partner. The joint venture, which has registered capital of Bt200 million, is expected to be launched this quarter and generate revenue of around Bt1 billion within five years, the source said.

Tree Pay will mainly be targeted at corporate companies, government agencies and small and medium-sized enterprises.

The joint venture also aims to support the government’s policy to promote online businesses and its digital economy policy.

The total value of business generated online each year in Thailand is more than Bt10 billion and continues surging.

CAT and TOT are about to make a major transformation. Last week the State Enterprise Policy Office gave the agencies one year to complete the merger of three core businesses.

The SEPO ordered the transfer of their transmission and fibre-optics networks to become National Broadband Network Co with asset worth Bt15 billion and to turn their Internet gateway and submarine-cable networks into Neutral Gateway Network Co with assets worth Bt5 billion. Their Internet data centres will become IDC Co.

TOT and CAT are also expected to seek a partnership for their fixed broadband services.
