124 Communications Consulting has recently teamed up with One Globe, a Thai-owned advertising agency in Myanmar, to help Thai enterprises exploit the fast-growing market in the neighbouring country.
“Our Bangkok-based clients have been looking for qualified below-the-line or activities service providers in Myanmar,” he said.
Faced with the complexities in logistics, marketing support, rules and regulations, as well as local protocol, many companies have wasted their marketing investment simply due to a complete lack of understanding of the local market.
One of the two clients that will immediately benefit from this partnership is TTW Plc, a leading Thai company in water, energy and other eco-friendly businesses.
TTW will build in the first phase a plant capable of producing 40,000 cubic metres of tap water a day for industrial and domestic uses.
The facility is located in Mawlamyine, the fourth largest city in Myanmar and situated 300 kilometres southeast of Yangon.
Another Thai company, Patkol Plc, a Asean leader in ice-making machines, food machine engineering and refrigeration technology, has already embarked on its expansion plan in Myanmar.
Withaya Tongthanaporn, director of One Globe Managing, said the partnership would lead to the best practicable alternatives for clients.
“With 124 Communications, we can now work together as one Asean team to provide the best possible services to our clients.
“Our nearly five-year presence in Myanmar makes us understand what to do and how to do it properly and professionally for our clients,” he added.
