ONE youth was killed and more than 90 others injured when a huge brawl broke out among juvenile inmates at a youth correctional facility in Surat Thani province yesterday.

Officials said about 30 of the injured suffered serious injuries. According to an ongoing investigation, the clash erupted at 5.30pm. More than 200 policemen and volunteers were needed to control the wild melee.
